Your photos stay yours. Imaag is built around Apple’s private CloudKit database.

What we store

Imaag stores originals locally on your device. Thumbnails and metadata sync via your private iCloud storage. Full‑resolution originals sync to iCloud; iOS uses thumbnails to save space.

Your data is exportable

Images + thumbnails live on disk. Metadata is stored in SQLite and can be exported (CSV/XLS coming soon).

LLM billing is yours

Imaag uses your OpenRouter (or OpenAI‑compatible) API key. You control usage, limits, and billing with the provider.

What we don’t see

We do not access your photo files. We don’t run a third‑party cloud that can read your library.

Full‑res sync is optional

You choose if and when full‑resolution originals are uploaded.
